September 2024 – Geauga Economic Leadership (G.E.L)

Join us for networking and a discussion with John Wilton the Director of Client Services Northern Ohio at Spooner Risk Control Services. He will present an elevated look into claims management, Ohio BWC programs and other areas within the Ohio BWC that can reduce an employer’s premiums.

John has more than 25 years of experience of experience in the Ohio workers’ compensation system, including an extensive history working with Spooner Inc., but also spent over 8 years working as a Regional Business consultant with the Ohio BWC.  John’s extensive background provides him with an understanding of employers’ issues and challenges faced by BWC customers.  With this perspective, Spooner Inc. can customize solutions and tailor them for each specific situation. John has a well-rounded experience in both the private and public sector.

Co-sponsored by Geauga Growth Partnership and Kent State University at Geauga. These events are an opportunity to bring business and industry leaders together with our community to network, learn, and collaborate. Each event is intended to foster a heightened awareness of business, industry, and public services present in Geauga County and to facilitate networking among the members of those sectors. Anyone working or living in Geauga County will benefit from learning more about our local employers and services.

This FREE event is hosted right inside the main doors of KSU Geauga, facing Claridon-Troy Road.

Should the behavior continue or if the behavior is deemed severe enough, the individual(s) will be removed from the event or training (without a refund) and may be denied entry to future events or trainings.
