Industry Tours
Industry Tours allow Geauga County students grades 8-12 to explore local businesses and learn about career options. During these tours, students will learn what career opportunities are available at these Geauga County businesses, from entry-level to top management. Those hosting the tour will even discuss what experience, credentials, certifications, and/or degrees are required to start entry-level and promote within their company. GGP coordinates tours in two formats: Career Awareness Tours & Industry Specific Tours.
1. Career Awareness Tours allow students to explore different industries in the same day. These tours are recommended for grades 8-12 and increase student awareness on some of the careers in Geauga County.
2. Industry Specific Tours allow students to see multiple companies that are in an industry they are already interested in. These tours are recommended for grades 11-12 for students that have an idea of what career they are interested in pursuing after high school graduation.
