A heartfelt thank-you to University Hospitals: Geauga Medical Center employees for a truly meaningful Employee Wellness Day

There’s something quietly powerful about pausing to pour a little care back into the people who give so much of themselves to this community. That’s exactly what happened at our recent UH Geauga Employee Wellness Day event, made possible through an incredible Healthcare Industry Sector Partnership with the University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.

Nearly 300 employees came through the doors, and every single one of them deserved to be there. These are the individuals who carry the weight of their work with grace, compassion, and relentless dedication. Giving them a space, even briefly, to breathe, recharge, and feel cared for is not just a nice gesture. It’s a necessity.

To the staff at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center – thank you. Thank you for your vision, your resources, and your genuine commitment to the people in our community. This collaboration is a reminder of what’s possible when organizations align around a shared belief that the health and well-being of our workforce is worth investing in, every single time.

We walk away from this event grateful, energized, and more committed than ever to building a culture where caregivers feel seen and supported. This won’t be the last time we invest in the people who make everything possible. It’s just the beginning!
