Join us for an information session & discussion on the (just off the press!) Housing Ohio: Tools for Development from Ohio Realtors.

Over the last two years, The Ohio Realtors has worked with the Greater Ohio Policy Center (GOPC) to conduct a national scan of pre-approved infill housing design programs that are architecturally appropriate for a specific community.  The goals of pre-approved design plans are:

• Promote new construction by limiting the time and expense associated with the city’s plan review process
• Streamline regulatory processes, promote new housing development in existing neighborhoods
• Offer more choice in housing types, and reduce some development costs.
• Ideal for communities that have a high vacant lot population or dilapidated buildings.

Question:  How to Address Housing Affordability and Availability Through Pre-Approved Building Plans?

Answer: Implement Housing Ohio: Tools For Development which includes pre-approved design plans and a Zoning Toolkit for municipalities.

Should the behavior continue or if the behavior is deemed severe enough, the individual(s) will be removed from the event or training (without a refund) and may be denied entry to future events or trainings.
